Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties

Support and troubleshoot the firm’s core business applications, including Citrix, SQL Server, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM).

Work closely with both internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues quickly, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout.

Oversee the full application lifecycle—from packaging and deployment to updates and retirement—while following best practices and maintaining system integrity.

Manage and fine-tune workstation and server images to ensure stability, consistency, and performance across all devices.

Handle monthly security patching and respond to urgent vulnerabilities to keep systems secure and compliant.

Monitor key systems and applications proactively to detect issues early and maintain smooth operations for all users.

Act as a key escalation point for application-related problems and helpdesk tickets, delivering timely solutions, root cause analysis, and follow-up improvements.

Maintain up-to-date and well-organized technical documentation aligned with internal policies and change management processes.

Be available for after-hours support during maintenance, deployments, and unexpected outages as needed.

Take on additional tasks as assigned, contributing to team success wherever possible.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in an application support or similar IT role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment. Stronger candidates may be considered for senior-level placement.

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.

Solid experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for deploying OS images, managing apps, and distributing patches.

Proficient in managing and supporting Citrix environments, Azure services, Active Directory, and Group Policies.

Comfortable using PowerShell or similar scripting tools to automate tasks and streamline processes.

Familiar with business-critical applications like iManage Work, the Microsoft 365 suite, CAM, Litera Desktop, Intune MDM, and Zoom.

Working knowledge of SQL Server, including ability to write queries and manage databases.

Understanding of ITIL methodologies and a commitment to best practices in IT operations.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a customer-first mindset.

Clear communicator who can explain technical solutions to a wide range of users.

Organized, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Willing and able to provide after-hours support when needed for projects, maintenance, or emergencies.
