Job Description
Overview:
Seeking an experienced leader to oversee eDiscovery and Information Governance strategies, ensuring compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency. This role involves managing litigation support, data governance, and technology-driven legal solutions while collaborating with legal, IT, and compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement eDiscovery and information governance policies.
- Oversee litigation holds, data preservation, and legal discovery processes.
- Manage data retention, classification, and compliance programs.
- Collaborate with IT and legal teams to ensure defensible data practices.
- Evaluate and implement eDiscovery technologies and workflows.
- Provide guidance on regulatory and legal data requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals in legal technology and data governance.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in eDiscovery, information governance, or legal technology.
- Expertise in litigation support, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of industry tools (e.g., Relativity, Nuix, Microsoft Purview).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
