Job Description
Location: NYC OR Washington DC- 3 Days in office 9 am - 6 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Build Data Pipelines: Construct and manage efficient data pipelines that integrate various internal and external data sources to ensure smooth data flow.
- Data Storage and Reporting Solutions: Develop and optimize data storage systems and warehouses that facilitate robust analytics and support reporting needs.
- Lead Machine Learning Initiatives: Oversee the creation, refinement, and production deployment of machine learning models, with a focus on advanced AI applications.
- Internal Product Development: Design and maintain internal tools that cater to both operational teams and external client-facing use cases.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with developers, business analysts, and domain experts to create practical, data-driven solutions.
- Cloud Infrastructure and Scalability: Architect cloud-based systems that support scalable and reliable machine learning workflows and data processes.
- Translate Business Needs into Analytical Solutions: Work with business leaders to convert complex challenges into structured, actionable technical plans.
- Adhere to Coding Best Practices: Contribute to team-wide initiatives to ensure high standards for code quality, version control, and project documentation.
- Educational Qualifications: A degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) along with 3-5 years of professional experience in a relevant domain.
- Solid Data Engineering Expertise: Deep understanding of ETL processes, database design, automation of data pipelines, and optimization techniques.
- Hands-on Experience in ML: Practical experience with machine learning techniques, including model training, testing, and deployment in production environments.
- Proficiency with Modern Data Warehousing Tools: Familiarity with advanced tools like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift for managing data warehouses.
- Technical Expertise: Strong skills in Python, SQL, and cloud services (such as AWS or GCP) along with experience in AI/ML model workflows.
- Effective Communicator: Ability to bridge technical gaps and communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Product-Oriented Mindset: Strong ability to think both technically and with a business focus, understanding how to build solutions that drive real-world value.
- Collaboration and Self-Management: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while working efficiently across distributed teams.
