ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to help transform complex data into clear, actionable insights. This role is part of the IT team and works closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand key business questions, translate them into meaningful analysis, and deliver insights that support decision-making.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, intellectually curious, and comfortable handling large, complex datasets with a focus on accuracy and clarity.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write, maintain, and optimize queries, views, and stored procedures in SQL to extract and prepare data for analysis.

  • Develop and enhance interactive dashboards in Power BI to deliver actionable insights.

  • Maintain and create reports using SSRS.

  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into data models, analyses, and visualizations.

  • Clean, validate, and reconcile datasets to ensure accuracy.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data and explain findings in clear language.

  • Partner with business leaders to frame problems, test assumptions, and propose data-driven recommendations.

  • Document data definitions, sources, and logic to ensure transparency and repeatability.

  • Provide timely support and service to internal teams.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, schema modifications, and stored procedure management.

  • Experience with the software development lifecycle and best practices.

  • Experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design.

  • Ability to gather, clean, analyze, and interpret complex datasets.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • 3–5 years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role.

  • Experience with financial, operational, or business performance data.

  • Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), version control, and Excel.

  • Experience with SharePoint for managing and organizing data assets is a plus.

  • Competitive salary range: $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience.
