Job Description


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Resolve access issues pertaining to cabinets, workspaces, and documents by collaborating with Service Desk personnel and end users.
  • Troubleshoot errors within NetDocuments, including interpretation of error messages and diagnosis of issues with integrated applications such as MS Office and Outlook. Coordinate with vendors or internal technical resources as needed.
  • Assist in evaluating new releases of NetDocuments, testing new functionality, and implementing updates when necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive support for the cloud-based NetDocuments application, covering updates, configurations, integrations, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
  • Support related systems and integrations, including Intapp Walls, Litera CAM, SSRS reports, various reporting tools, cloud integrations, data warehouse data integrations, and security components.
  • Research new applications or features independently or upon management request, offering recommendations and implementation plans after thorough analysis.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to establish and maintain appropriate test environments and define application test plans, specifying responsibilities for each level of testing.
  • Evaluate, test, and integrate new software or upgrades, including identifying web server requirements and defining desktop packaging requirements using Firm standard tools and methodologies.
  • Monitor all components of the DMS environment for security, performance, and stability, interfacing with vendors as necessary to resolve issues.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and trends relevant to assigned applications and areas of expertise.
  • Provide after-hours on-call support and work during monthly maintenance windows as required.
  • Generate ad hoc reports using SQL queries and perform document imports and exports, including metadata spreadsheet generation.
  • Review training materials for accuracy and completeness.
  • Undertake other duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Document processes and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency.

Education and/or Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience with NetDocuments or a cloud-based information management system.
  • Experience troubleshooting integration issues with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior level users.
  • The ability to develop technical documentation for both a technical and non-technical audience

Preferred:
  • Professional services industry experience supporting cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with PowerShell and other basic scripting languages.
  • Experience supporting applications implemented through Citrix.
  • Ability to write basic to moderate SQL scripts is a plus.
