Corporate Legal Assistant
Job Description
Daily Duties:
- Deliver exceptional client service through written and verbal communication with clients and executives of diverse backgrounds
- Manage daily calendars and attorney schedules
- Prepare monthly client billing, as well as review for edits and corrections
- Handle reimbursements and expense requests, tracking reimbursements for payment receipt
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, conducting self-reviews, and seeking clarification when necessary when preparing legal documents, letters, and other written materials
- Organize personal correspondence, reading files, billing letters, expense reports, and other client-related documents according to Firm filing standards
- Maintain hard copy and electronic files, organizing and managing documents
- Enter timesheets into database for attorneys via Aderant
- Open new client/matter files
- Must be flexible with schedule and work overtime occasionally
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience within corporate law
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook & Adobe software programs
