The Washington, D.C. office of XXXXX has an immediate opening for a high-performing and team-oriented mid-level corporate associate with three to five years of experience with respect to transactional, compliance and corporate governance matters. The ideal candidate will have had substantive experience with respect to (1) representing issuers, financial institutions, underwriters and agents with respect to public and private offerings of debt and/or equity securities, (2) mergers & acquisitions and other strategic transactions, and/or (3) advising public companies in connection with ‘ 34 Act reporting obligations, corporate governance and stock exchange listing requirements. Experience related to real estate investment trust transactions is a plus but not required. Candidate must be admitted to the D.C. bar or be eligible to waive into the D.C. bar.
