Job Description
One of our Higher Educational clients is looking to add a Project Manager to their team.
You will oversee and coordinate the IT components of university construction and renovation projects. The PM works with internal IT, Facilities, and other departments as well as external advisors, consultants, and engineers to ensure that IT needs and specifications are incorporated into the plans for all construction projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- At least two years of experience in working on construction and renovation projects – including IT infrastructure such as low-wiring, telecommunications/networks, and audio-visual equipment.
- Demonstrated experience with coordinating, designing, and developing specifications for AudioVisual, telecommunications (network, voice, CATV) structured cabling, and other related technology is strongly preferred.
- Possess an understanding of technical concepts, principles, and IT terminology as well as the ability to clearly and correctly state and summarize technical information to clients and management.
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Additional evening, weekend, or overnight hours may be required based on project deliverables.
You will be expected to travel to all campus locations, including White Plains, and Pleasantville, NY.
Salary: 95k-100k
