Conflicts Analyst

Job Description
Position Overview:
The Conflicts Analyst will be responsible for generating and reviewing standard conflict reports related to new attorneys and prospective client matters. This includes assessing various conflict check types—such as advisory roles, NDAs, and transactional reviews. The position is based in Los Angeles, New York, Boston, or Washington D.C., Houston, or Chicago and may offer a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Communicate with attorneys and staff to clarify conflict check results, gather missing details, and confirm check requirements.

Update conflict databases and verify corporate information using internal tools and external research resources.

Collaborate with attorneys and conflicts team members to understand and evaluate conflict check parameters (e.g., laterals, prospective clients, adverse parties).

Conduct corporate research via databases, online tools, and print resources.

Respond to attorney feedback on potential conflicts and assist in resolving any identified issues.

Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary information.
Qualifications & Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical solutions.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with legal professionals and support staff.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, four years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Minimum three years of professional experience demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

At least two years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services setting.

Experience with Intapp Open software is preferred.
