Senior Conflicts Researcher – Risk & Compliance (Remote) 130k
This role supports the firm's General Counsel, Risk, and Conflicts teams with in-depth research, analysis, and issue resolution around legal ethics, compliance, and potential conflicts of interest.
Key Responsibilities:

Independently research companies, agencies, and individuals using both internal systems and third-party tools

Maintain and update corporate hierarchies in the firm’s systems

Review and interpret reports to identify conflicts in new business and hiring activity

Advise attorneys and staff on actual or potential conflicts and propose resolution steps

Collaborate with department leads and escalate complex issues to the General Counsel when needed

Track developments like mergers, acquisitions, and bankruptcies

Document findings, maintain notes, and handle other related research projects as needed

Strong research and analytical skills, with high attention to detail

Clear communication and the ability to advise attorneys on complex matters

Comfortable working independently and handling sensitive/confidential info

Proactive, organized, and able to shift priorities in a fast-paced setting

Proven ability to support, train, and lead within a team
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or 4+ years of relevant law firm experience)

5+ years in a law firm, professional services, or conflicts-related role
-
Proficiency with conflicts software and Microsoft Office (especially Intapp Open)

Solid understanding of research methods and documentation standards
