Conflicts Researcher to LA, DC, NY or CHI
My global law firm client is seeking a Conflicts Researcher to join its Risk & Compliance team. This role supports the Office of the General Counsel and New Business Intake Department with research, analysis, and guidance on conflicts of interest, ethics, and compliance matters.
Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research on companies, agencies, and individuals using internal/external resources

Analyze and interpret conflict reports to identify and resolve potential issues

Maintain and update corporate hierarchies in conflicts and billing databases

Communicate conflict findings and resolutions with attorneys and staff

Monitor and research mergers, acquisitions, and bankruptcies

Assist with complex conflict reviews in consultation with management and legal counsel

Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to manage sensitive/confidential information

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of law firm, conflicts, or legal research experience

Proficiency with Intapp Open, Microsoft Office, and conflict research tools
