Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate client matter setup, billing, and collections, and manage inventory for assigned attorney and client portfolios.
- Foster strong relationships with attorneys and staff during the client invoicing and collections process.
- Analyze inventory statistics, provide documentation, and make strategic recommendations.
- Oversee matter management, including rate structure, time and value accuracy, disbursement tracking, and client matter budget monitoring.
- Handle on-account billing, unapplied fund resolution, and client trust accounting.
- Maintain excellence in client service across all aspects of the role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business discipline preferred.
- Minimum three years dedicated specialized billing, collection or account management experience.
- Hands-on experience performing complex accounting analysis.
- Strong financial systems skills. (Elite/3E, eBillingHub)
- Law Firm or professional services background with international exposure preferred.
- Ability to assess information, anticipates issues and outcomes, and makes effective decisions.
- Ability to prepare accurate, highly detailed work product.
- Talent for delivering client service through teamwork.
- Ability to exchange information and to present ideas, report facts and other information clearly and concisely.
