Job Description

Job Summary:
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the corporation. This includes directing the preparation of current financial reports and forecasts to anticipate future growth.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Direct the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
Compare sales and profit projections with actual figures, and assess budgeted expenses against actual expenses, making adjustments as needed for future projections and budgets.
Review the planning process and propose enhancements to current methods.
Conduct analyses of operations to pinpoint areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
Work with the President and other executives to synchronize planning efforts and prioritize the planning process.
Conduct in-depth studies of long-range economic trends and forecast their impact on future sales growth and market share.
Identify prospects for expanding into new product areas.
Manage the investment of funds and collaborate with investment bankers to secure additional capital required for expansion.
