Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Proposal and Content Writer to lead the development of compelling RFP responses and supporting materials. This role plays a key part in showcasing the firm’s expertise, driving business growth, and maintaining high-quality, timely submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and manage comprehensive RFP responses from start to finish, ensuring alignment with client needs and internal standards.
- Collaborate with attorneys, senior management, and cross-functional teams to develop tailored, strategic proposals.
- Proofread, finalize, and submit high-quality proposals by deadlines, maintaining a proactive proposal calendar.
- Create post-RFP materials to prepare attorneys for client interviews and presentations.
- Maintain and improve a centralized repository of proposal templates, tools, and materials, tracking win/loss data for insights.
- Assist in optimizing RFP processes, workflows, and templates for increased efficiency.
- Manage industry awards and accolade submissions, coordinating content and deadlines.
- Support the marketing team on various projects to enhance firm visibility and reputation.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in proposal writing, ideally within professional services, law, or asset management.
- Proven success in developing RFP responses and supporting materials.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with proposal management tools; Qorus experience a plus.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience working within a law firm, investment firm, or asset management organization.
- Knowledge of securities litigation or legal industry terminology.
- Prior experience with content management or document automation software.
