Temp Business Development Manager – Marketing
Multiple U.S. Offices | $138K–$175K
The Phoenix Group Advisors is conducting a search for a Temp Business Development Manager for a professional services firm with multiple U.S. offices. The role focuses on driving business development, client growth, and revenue generation within designated practice groups.
The Temp Business Development Manager owns the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives, supporting firm-wide growth through targeted client acquisition, market research, and competitive intelligence. Responsible for managing pitch processes, RFP responses, and marketing collateral, the role also organizes CLE seminars, sponsorships, directory submissions, and cross-selling efforts to enhance market positioning.
• Lead proposal development and RFP responses to secure new business opportunities
• Conduct market research and competitive intelligence activities
• Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns and materials
• Coordinate CLE seminars, sponsorships, and industry event participation
• Manage directory submissions and reputation-building initiatives (e.g., Chambers)
• Collaborate with practice groups to identify cross-selling opportunities
• Track and analyze marketing campaign performance metrics
• Maintain and update client and prospect databases
• 5+ years of experience in professional services marketing, experience in legal or consulting preferred
• Proven project management and event coordination skills
• Strong writing and communication capabilities
• Data-driven marketing strategy development and execution
• Experience with pitch processes, RFP management, and client proposals
• Knowledge of legal marketing channels and directories
• Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools
• Ability to collaborate in a matrixed organization and manage multiple priorities
