Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring law firm billing experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process transactional monthly and quarterly client billings (manual and electronic).

  • Complete and submit monthly accruals.

  • Liaise with the eBilling group to ensure submissions are accurate and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Generate and distribute pre-billing reports to partners.

  • Process modifications and adjustments to transactions identified on pre-billing reports.

  • Respond to and resolve billing inquiries from attorneys, Legal Executive Assistants, and management.

  • Collaborate with partners to manage monthly billing cycles.

  • Assist with special projects as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 3–5 years of similar billing experience within a law firm environment.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Dependable, detail-oriented team player with a positive, proactive attitude.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Experience with billing processes and related software applications.

  • Knowledge of 3E accounting system and internet-based electronic billing platforms.
