Job Description
Provide proactive support to business development managers by assisting with projects, proposals, and initiatives. Develop familiarity with firm practice areas, industry groups, and partner preferences to ensure tailored support and offer process improvement recommendations while independently managing assignments.
Responsibilities include:

Updating and maintaining marketing content such as website bios, practice descriptions, and other collateral.

Supporting pitch and RFP preparation by conducting research, compiling materials, and collaborating with the Marketing Pitch Hub to ensure accuracy and quality.

Tracking experience data and creating descriptions and tombstones for use in marketing efforts.

Drafting new marketing collateral as needed.

Designing engaging PowerPoint presentations for client and internal use.

Conducting market, industry, and target client research using internal and external resources.

Coordinating logistics and execution of client seminars and events, including follow-up efforts to maximize ROI.

Working with Creative Services to ensure brand consistency and prepare materials for print.

Supporting awards submissions and legal directory rankings in partnership with relevant team members.

Maintaining Salesforce data related to pitches, RFPs, and contact lists for designated industry groups.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or a related field

Minimum of three years of relevant experience, ideally within professional services or a law firm

Highly motivated, accountable, and responsive with a strong sense of ownership

Excellent writing and copy editing skills; able to create focused, customized content

Exceptional attention to detail across writing, research, and data management

Strong knowledge of best practices for planning and executing in-person and virtual events, including follow-up

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Flexible and willing to work additional hours as needed to fulfill responsibilities
