Job Description
Position Summary: The Manager will lead AI/ML initiatives to automate routine legal tasks, enabling attorneys to focus on complex issues. Responsibilities include selecting and implementing AI technologies, training staff, and overseeing digital transformation efforts. Key objectives include developing budgeting and fee calculators, automating time capture, and enhancing business development. The role involves managing AI projects, evaluating solutions, conducting project management, and ensuring governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Administration: Manage day-to-day AI operations, troubleshoot workflows for automation potential, and support AI adoption.
- Solution Evaluation: Evaluate AI solutions, research legal AI trends, and recommend purchases.
- Project Management: Lead AI project lifecycles, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery on schedule and within budget.
- Design and Build: Oversee development and deployment of AI models and tools, manage data integration, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Documentation: Provide technical evaluations, create user training materials, and document processes and enhancements.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements: Extensive experience in quantitative problem-solving, strong communication skills, time management, and data integration expertise.
- Desired Qualifications: Background in machine learning, data mining, NLP, and experience with AI applications in legal settings.
