Job Description
Responsibilities
• Prepare probate papers
• Open and maintain estate and trust accounts
• Inventory, value and collect assets
• Maintain checking accounts (pay bills, track account balances, maintain checkbook)
• Prepare balance sheet and cash requirements memorandum
• Distribute assets to beneficiaries
• Communicate (verbal and written) with clients, Attorneys, executors, trustees and banks. regarding
estate and trust matters
• Administrative tasks involved with executing responsibilities (filing, copying, scanning and mailing)
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Degree in business administration, finance or accounting preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of databases Westlaw and Lexis / Nexis
• Strong numerical aptitude
