IT Project Manager

We are looking for a skilled Information Technology Project Manager to lead essential technology projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background and demonstrate the ability to swiftly adapt to new systems and processes. This role involves managing a diverse range of technology-related projects within the organization.
Located in NYC, the Project Manager will collaborate with IT professionals to meet the firm's overall technology needs. This position reports to the Global Head of Technology Transformation and currently follows a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office each week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership in project management.
  • Experience with mergers and aquisitions.
  • Establish project charters, meeting schedules, and reporting practices.
  • Develop a framework to keep senior leadership and global technology teams updated on initiatives across all locations.
  • Manage multiple projects, creating detailed plans, schedules, requirements documents, and status updates.
  • Propel projects towards objectives while addressing challenges through innovative problem-solving and adaptability.
  • Support senior leadership in overseeing Governance, Risk, and Compliance within IT and Finance audits and controls.
  • Contribute to creating a playbook and project management strategy for Merger & Acquisitions, IT Due Diligence, and technology integration.
  • Aid in enhancing efficiencies in technology procurement and budgeting processes.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with team members, vendors, and other involved departments.
  • Act as a liaison between business professionals and project stakeholders.
  • Work closely with IT staff to ensure timely and budget-compliant development, release, updates, and deployment of technology systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for technology projects.
  • Engage in computer incident response team activities (including Business Continuity and Cyber planning).
  • Timely communicate and report issues, status updates, and results to senior management.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and facilitate change management and technology transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7-10 years of applicable project management experience.
  • Strong background in project management documentation and technical processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Microsoft Project, and Miro.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of various technologies and cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google, security, networking, and various SaaS applications).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage related tasks.
  • Solid understanding of IT project dynamics.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Asana project management software is a plus


Hybrid 3 days per week on site in NYC office (Midtown Manhattan)

Salary Range- $120,000-$130,000 per year with 10% target annual bonus
