Training Specialist
Job Description
- Using a learning management system, perform administrative tasks associated with training: schedule classes/courses, maintain attendance registration and records, analyze the effectiveness of training and student feedback.
- Collaborates by participating in software pilot programs, conducts testing and reporting results, soliciting feedback from users, and documenting results
- Collaborates with user support staff to review trends in the ticketing system for follow up and learning opportunities
- Collaborates and partners with Marketing to build advertisements and material in order to promote adoption of product(s)
- Participates in creation of new forms, templates, macros, styles, etc. in alignment with the Firm’s style guidelines
- Assists IT staff in testing and evaluating application software for recommendation to the Firm
- Identifies and recommends continual areas for improvement to achieve and deliver higher quality service to our end users
- Maintains positive relationships with firm staff and legal personnel for their technology training needs;
- Furthers technology skills and instructional delivery methods independently to expand knowledge of the firm core software and emerging technologies
- Supports Firm software users on an as-needed basis, including telephone support and personal follow-up with users
QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to identify gaps, strategic impacts, financial impacts and the risk profile in the technical solution or offering and provide technical support
- Knowledge of NetDocuments
- Knowledge of Aderant Sierra
- Familiarity with other third party legal applications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Outlook, and to a lesser extent Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong technical coaching and counseling skills with ability to influence others to take action and achieve objectives
