Job Description
Our client is looking for a Network Analyst
Responsibilities:
-
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting on all network issues and services for all locations with a focus on data center networking

Implement, coordinate, maintain, and monitor complex network infrastructure projects, including the installation of the network Hardware and Software
-
Perform day to day configuration of core networking systems including layer 2, layer 3, and software defined networking technologies as well as firewall and security technologies in global data centers
-
Coordinate with vendors, UR network and other IT teams on the installation and maintenance of the company’s Data/Wireless/LAN/WAN network, including Firewalls, and Network Security
-
Provide after hours and on call support for critical network issues

Install and/or replace cabling and networking components related to upgrades, new installations, or failures
-
Create and maintain appropriate documentation for infrastructure projects including technology evaluation, Change Management, and hardware/software upgrades/rollouts
-
Monitor and optimize deployed network infrastructure and proactively address problems
-
Proactively research and locate the necessary network components and processes to ensure core and edge network supports relevant business and technical requirements
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
-
Minimum of 3 years in Networking projects or support
-
Minimum of 2 years in data center networking technologies (Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, Cisco UCS, etc)
-
Strong knowledge of WAN/LAN, BGP, OSPF, Cisco or Palo Alto firewalls and Network Security
-
Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, IP routing, BGP, OSPF, and security protocols at all levels of the OSI model
-
Proven experience troubleshooting, integrating and maintaining high-performance networks

Ability to run cabling, troubleshoot cabling issues, climb an 8 foot ladder, lift and install data center equipment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service

MS Word and MS Excel skills

Strong analytical, critical, and creative problem solving skills

Patience and dedication when working with clients, vendors, and internal teams
-
Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapting when priorities change

Ability to work varied schedules, including on-call responsibilities

Cisco CCNA and CCNP Data Center Certifications and Cisco ACI knowledge preferred
