Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Senior Specialist to join their team!
Position Summary:
The Marketing and Business Development Senior Specialist collaborates closely with the MBD leadership team, partners, practice group leaders, and other office leaders to implement business development projects and activities that showcase the firm's strengths and the New York office's capabilities. This role provides strategic support to litigation and corporate practice groups by managing various business development and marketing initiatives, including targeted client outreach, webinars, sponsorships, podcasts, directory submissions, and proposals and pitches.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing high-quality pitches, proposals, and RFP responses by researching firm and partner experience, strategizing key message points, and emphasizing differentiators.
- Managing short- and long-term business development initiatives while enhancing processes and efficiencies.
- Coordinating and drafting submissions for directories and awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, GRR, GCR).
- Conducting targeted research and competitive analysis to support business development efforts.
- Maintaining tracking systems and databases, including pitch trackers, collateral libraries, and experience databases.
Teamwork is essential for success in this role, and the individual is expected to build and maintain strong relationships with department colleagues, other firm departments, and attorneys.
Education and General Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in professional services (law firm BD experience preferred).
- Fluency in MS office.
- B.A./B.S. in related field.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
