Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join a leading cybersecurity organization. Reporting directly to the VP of Cyber Risk Advisory Services (CRAS), you will play a crucial role within our newly established Program Management Office (PMO) Team. You will oversee the project lifecycle of the CRAS Division, ensuring that all projects meet planned objectives and deliver business value to our clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple projects across various domains within a PMO environment, effectively managing time, resources, scope, and quality.
- Standardize project processes and methodologies to drive complex projects from inception to completion.
- Engage with business and technical leaders to define project scope, requirements, and capabilities.
- Ensure consistency in all project documentation, including communication plans and reporting formats for different stakeholder groups.
- Provide regular progress reports, track project plans, and offer guidance to project teams to ensure collaborative success.
- Create reports, presentations, and correspondence for senior/executive leadership.
- Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to define project deliverables and requirements.
- Develop and manage project timelines using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope management.
- Work on operational projects focusing on new service delivery, partner communications, and scheduling.
- Review team deliverables before client presentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in managing or performing IS/IT or related projects.
- Experience in cross-functional, cross-disciplinary project management for mid-to-large sized organizations with dispersed teams.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com, etc.
- Experience operating within a PMO structure is essential.
- Previous experience at an MSP, VAR, or consulting company is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management qualifications, with preference for Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) or traditional SDLC/Waterfall models.
- Strong presentation skills with proficiency in written, oral, and presentation abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills, including tool utilization (spreadsheets, project management tools, mind maps), information collection, attention to detail, and prioritization.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration across various stakeholders.
- Experience in InfoSec/Cyber Security systems design, implementation, or operationalization, including working with third-party vendors, is a plus.
- Ability to manage conflict resolution and communicate risks and roadmaps to senior/executive leadership effectively.
