Role Overview
We're seeking a Client Accounting Electronic Billing Rate Coordinator to support the electronic billing rate processes within the billing cycle. This role involves working closely with billing vendors, clients, and internal teams to manage timekeeper rates and ensure compliance with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and submit monthly electronic billing rates for client approval.

Track submitted rates, identify and escalate issues, and work with internal and external teams to resolve discrepancies.

Respond to inquiries from partners, billing staff, and other stakeholders about rate submissions and status.

Assist with electronic billing setup for new clients, ensuring proper data entry, rate formats, and compliance with client-specific requirements.

Collaborate with partners and billing teams to ensure rates align with client agreements and Outside Counsel Guidelines.

Provide input to improve e-billing rate processes for better efficiency and accuracy.

Act as a subject matter resource on electronic billing rates, offering guidance to internal teams.

Participate in e-billing projects and initiatives.

Continuously expand knowledge of client accounting systems and procedures.

Proficiency in software tools such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to learn new systems quickly.

Familiarity with ADERANT Expert or similar legal time and billing systems.

Experience with various e-billing vendor platforms and LEDES billing formats.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Flexible with work hours as needed to meet business demands.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic billing rate management within a professional services environment (law firm or similar).
