Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Strategy & Design
-
Engineer reusable deployment templates and automation scripts to streamline provisioning;

Define policies for cost optimization, resource classification, and access governance across cloud environments;
Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Work closely with infrastructure leads, security engineers, and application stakeholders to ensure reliable cloud adoption and service continuity;

Participate in audits, assessments, and incident reviews related to cloud-hosted platforms and services;
Innovation & Operational Efficiency
-
Research and assess emerging Azure capabilities, recommending tools and features that improve delivery speed, reliability, and cost control;

Identify opportunities to optimize cloud usage across compute, storage, and networking layers;
Governance, Security & Risk Management

Enforce modern cloud security frameworks using Azure-native controls such as Policy, Key Vault, PIM, and Security Center;

Collaborate with compliance and cybersecurity teams to uphold encryption standards, enforce conditional access rules, and support Zero Trust adoption;

Align architecture practices with international frameworks and certifications, including ISO 27001;
Required Expertise:
-
Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including networking (e.g., VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall), identity and access (e.g., Entra ID), compute (e.g., VMs, AVD), and various storage types;

Strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Bicep, ARM, Terraform), scripting (PowerShell), and automation pipeline configuration;

Working knowledge of secure collaboration technologies and data protection tools such as Microsoft Purview and Intune;
-
Demonstrated success in environments subject to strict regulatory or security requirements;
Preferred Background:
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus;

Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years dedicated to cloud architecture within Microsoft Azure;

Possession of relevant certifications, such as:
-
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect

Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer

CISSP or similar security credential
